Green Onions Anyone??

Do you have green onions in your fridge?  Don't throw away the white ends. Simply submerge them in a glass of water and place them in a sunny window. They will grow.  And they will grow fast!  Over and over again!  I use kitchen scissors to cut what I need for whatever I am fixing.  And periodically empty out the water, rinse the roots off and give them fresh water.
